Not sure if this helpful but I live in a very cold area . Winter for me is made easier with long sleeve wool thermals and Explorer socks .We have 700g wool quilts but recently discovered coral fleece blankets from Target which all my family now swear by.It doesn't get away from being housebound by miserable weather or grey overcast days but warmth seems to help mitigate against that feeling of being chilled deep into my bones . Oh and don't forget the ugg boots - mine are leather outside and with an outdoor sole.Roll on summer but in the meantime I may have to put on some summer music to lift my spirits.
