Thank you so much for responding to my posting. It is good to hear from other women in the same situation. I have been very lucky neither to have experienced any side effects from previous radiotherapy nor through menopause (wouldn't know what a hot flush was!). So I shall have to be prepared for that to change. I guess one has to weigh up the side-effects associated with taking medication against the risk of cancer returning. It's probably a no-brainer in the end but at least talking to others and researching the information gives time for one's psychological makeup to adjust!
