new season

Well, girls the first day of spring!! Today I am off to report to my group all the wonderful things seen, heard, done and inspired to do, for our wonderful summit.

Organizing a mini-field of women is first on the agenda. Then spreading the word out there more, so our group can grow.

Lots more to come.

I welcome any suggestions??

Also am interested in the Community Liason work. and would like to talk with one in the north west of sydney??? Anyone out there??

thanks, Linda

  • Hi Linda, you had no profile picture so it took me a while to remember who you were, sorry. Then it came to me i was like oh Linda the lady who cried all the time, just like me. My teary friend, lol.

How have you been? I would love to attend your mini field of women and if you need any help with anything just let me know. I am curently planning a stall at a fete i am so excited i just hope that its a success and the community are all aware of BCNA by the end of the day.

Yes that was me on Can of Worms. I am extremelly proud of myself i just wish there was an opportunity to explain how BCNA has helped me make informed decisions just from talking to other survivors. I am sure i will have many more chances maybe just not on national t.v. : (

The kids reactions to me being on the telly were funny. My son was asleep but the next day he watched and kept looking at the t.v. and then looking at me as if comparing making sure that it was really me and we were not tricking him. It was very cute.

Take care, I look forward to hearing from you soon. xx

  • Dear Danielle,

so funny to hear from you! I was reading the blogs last night, and remembered you were "that" Danielle, that was sitting next to me, at the friday night celebration.  So happy to hear you were on the "Can of Worms" and was sad that I missed it. Well, can you believe I put the tv on and there was an encore repeat program of C.O.W.  And I finally got to see you and how well you spoke. You floored them with your story. Wow . I was sooooo proud of you.  You told it like it is, and how you had your breast "done" for your daughter.  After all, you are still so young and how a long life to live.

I, too have a daughter, so totally understand.

So, brave you are.  On national tv, you spoke for many.

I still need to get, Cindi and my photo with Raylene, for the local papers. Promotion, is what we need to do.

Will let you know about our mini field of women.

Have fun next week. I can't be there.

    Catch up, soon,

Big hug, your partner in tears xx

  • Hi Linda,

I am not exactly in the North West of Sydney but if you have an event i would not mind travelling for the day. I live about 1 and 1/2 hours away but i love road trips.
