@melclarity - Thank you for taking the time to respond to my original post. I'm sorry to hear that you have had a recurrence. You mentioned that you'll be having a mastectomy - when is the surgery scheduled for? I found out I am BRCA2 positive so will be having a bilateral mastectomy in the coming weeks. I honestly don't want to think about it too much at this stage, as I am petrified at the thought of a surgeon scraping out the insides of my breasts - like scooping out an avocado (something i read online!)
Good to hear that no specific food types are linked to cancer. I truly believe that a balanced and healthy diet is the best way!
