Mouth

Evening all hope all is well with everyone. Need some help how do I get rid of this awful taste in my mouth/back of the throat? It's just awful driving me nuts, doesn't matter what I eat it's all the same, you might get the initial taste from the food then the awful taste again. TIA Glynnis. X

    Thanks Tracey B that's good advice, have checked and all clear, if I'm right if you have it it looks like coconut?? I'm told but good advice thankyou

    Hi Glinnis, just check your mouth for oral thrush, as every time I have chemo I get it. I just keep some Nilstat drops in the fridge ready for each chemo. Hope that this helps, Tracey B ??

    Anything lemon flavoured helped me.It seems to cut through the fur!

    Hi girls, I was going to suggest fruit tingles too! They were the only thing that got rid of the yucky taste for me. Good luck. Karen xox

    I am having a similar problem where everything i eat and drink tastes like it has been thickened with cornflour and then an after bitter taste. Try pineapple juice or fresh pineapple to get rid of the taste and i have found sucking on fruit tingles helps in between meals. I will be interested to hear if anyone else has other ideas!
