I am having a similar problem where everything i eat and drink tastes like it has been thickened with cornflour and then an after bitter taste. Try pineapple juice or fresh pineapple to get rid of the taste and i have found sucking on fruit tingles helps in between meals. I will be interested to hear if anyone else has other ideas!
