Big milestone for me! Warm, balmy morning for a change so I donned a cargo hat and sunnies (incognito) and went for my walk. No wig, No beanie. No scarf. So the back of my head with it's thin layer of hair was visible - if you looked closely! Haha. Felt liberating! Still way too thin on top to share that with the world yet!

Good on you! I have about 2 mm of fuzz and have already started to venture out in public with my nude nut. I just get so itchy with the wigs and so hot with scarves. I also had a big milestone today; I actually went to work with the nude nut! Granted there weren't many in the office but I just felt so good and free I think I'll be doing it all the time from now on. It's good to just be yourself and feel free and natural. It helps to avoid mirrors too haha!

Oooo. 'Spike creator'. That sounds like a fun idea. Still don't have enough on top yet to do this (!!) but I reckon that's what I'd like to do too. Is it a supermarket product??

Well done, you! Braver than me! My nude nut is still too thin on top which is frustrating! 'Nude nut' is the term my partner uses and he and one of my daughters are the only ones to have seen all of it. The bare facts!

Thank you, Carolyn. Finding the good things (hair), the silver lining (not too grey, I hope - haha), the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (a hair cut / styling!) can turn everything around. A positive attitude is like a drug: addictive because you know you're gunna feel good!

Congrats Erica, it's such an amazing feeling to walk around outside the house without anything on your head. To feel your hair blowing in the breeze. To brush even though it hurts :) your hair/head. To be able to get tiny spikes and call it a style. To have a haircut a week ago and go ooh it's grown again. To go to work and hold your head up high and say look no wig.... I feel like I'm writing a poem, seriously well done. Not long now and it's rads! Cheers Cheryle:)
