Meeting my dad for the first time.
14 April. Well I have had the mastectomy op and the axillaries nodes removal op in November and December of last year. I have finished chemo which I have had all of this year and had a blood test yes...
What a weekend, 1000km's we did. Met my dad and my older brother for the first time. Hubby said my brother looks like Richard Gere but I am biased and I think David is much better looking that Richard. Dad was pretty good for an old fella with bone cancer in his joints but he nodded off for a couple of micro naps while we were there. We just kept talking with my brother and dad would chip in with comments like he hadn't been napping at all. I found where my fishing and horse fetish has come from; my fathers side of the family so I am not odd at all, its hereditary.
David is going with dad to see oncology on Tuesday and get to the bottom of what this chemo is doing for dad and how much longer it will continue as dad is so tired and is just about at the I give up stage.
