Mastectomy done

It may differ from person to person but I had very little pain (mastectomy and axillary clearance). They kept trying to give me painkillers and I didn't need them. I tripped over my drains a couple of times, which was ouchy, but found I could put them in my dressing gown pockets and that was much better. Best wishes, hope it all goes well.
