I recently found out that my mammograms and ultrasounds are reviewed by 2 doctors at the radiology clinic each time. This is to be more thorough that nothing is missed. One of these doctors only works certain days so depending on the day of the week I have them done it can take a while before they are reviewed by both doctors and the results sent on to my GP and surgeon. Maybe this is why yours have taken a bit longer too Brenda? It is good that they are being so careful and thorough with us I guess. I now make sure I have my mammogram and ultrasound 2 weeks before my appointment with the surgeon just to be sure the results will be received in time. xxx
