quick question which is probably irrelevant but for moving forward. If I have lumps that pop up again is my go first course of action or breast care nurse at hospital? Asking generallybut I have another lump which might be a cyst ? Anyway have gp appointment in the morning but nervous as all f*** right now.

Soooo had mamo and ultrasound on both sides and results are at drs but can't get in until Thursday night. I called back to see if I could see another dr over the weekend but noooooo. So to quote Dh ' it must be okay then' I am going with that until further notice I slept through the night last night after having nightmares Friday. So feeling much better. Crazy how much lack of sleep effects everything else. Will confirm Thursday all okay.

@DearB. I felt a lump in the cancer boob a year on, saw my surgeon from the public system in his rooms, had mammo and ultrasound the same day and it turned out to be necrosis (dead tissue) most likely from radiotherapy . No action taken and it's gone away on its own. Good luck with it all!

@DearB full disclosure as to why I am convinced you should go straight to a specialist whether or not your GP says there's anything to worry about. My GP told me my lump was nothing to worry about. I went to breast screening anyway and it turned out to be a 70mm invasive ductal tumour. My new GP says general practitioners often find it difficult to know the difference between a cancer and something benign. I will never rely on a GP for this sort of thing again.

Have mama and ultrasound booked for Wednesday. Origannly booked for 4pm tomorrow but soon person sick so changed to Wednesday. Dr doesn't think it's anything but said he will err of side of caution. Feeling better about that now to tell my husband I am having another scan. Later going to have a veg on the couch first...

I was so convinced it was going to be bad. My dr apologised and said sorry I wanted to tell you face to face. Noice. A it’s ok at the start of the recall would be ace though. I was planning a day off work tomorrow and now don’t have a reason to not go. So will go and make it a good day at work.
