Tanyal, thats wonderdful news!! I found I had more pain from the drain site than I did the surgery, it lasted for quite some time even after the drain came out. Im 18 months on from that but still have numbness in the back of the arm near the armpit and a little of the armpit, but nothing that worries me at all. The lumpectomy was easy compared to that! It will get better, just have some pain management until you heal a little more. Hugs Melinda xo
