Halfway through my second lot of antibiotics and I was still lung crackling and coughing so yesterday I got on Dr google and by my symptoms I discovered I have bronchitis which is an inflammation of one or both bronchial tubes. This made perfect sense as when I put my own stethoscope over my lungs, the top bronchi on the left side was where all the noise was coming from. It did worry me a bit as that's directly under where my breast tumour was and the mastectomy surgery which is why I got on to googling as my Dr had said pretty much take these antibiotics and no follow up appointment.
Ok, so it's an inflammation of the bronchi, what reduces inflammation? Tempting tho it was, I resisted taking the old dogs anti inflammatory arthritis tablets and took a couple of aspro. Results? No crackly chest and barely a cough over night and this morning, still barely a crackle. Amazing!
