Hi Does anyone know of anything that shouldn't be taken with Arimidex, I am currently taking Fossil Shell Flour (absolute miracle product, makes you feel great, all natural) , just wanted to know if anyone else takes it and whether it has any adverse effects taken with Arimidex - Linny

The recommendation from my daughter who is a pharmacist at the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne is to ask your oncologist and/or make an enquiry to the Drug Information Pharmacist at the specialist cancer hospital in your state. It's not wise to take anything that your specialist team don't know about ... some "natural" medications may help with side effects but they may also reduce the effectiveness of your pharmacy medications. Hi Linny where do you get Fossil Shell Flour from? I need all the help I can get at present. I'm in WA have tried googling but not really coming up any sites I'm familiar with. Also how long before you notice improved energy levels? Thanks Lara

Thanks Lin I did read your other blog and also did some research on the net like I mentioned. Lucky for me I am not taking any other medications I had bilateral mastectomies so I have been told I don't need to take any (fingers crossed they have it right). I had my surgery 30 May this year and have been extremely lucky to have caught it early (DCIS) and nothing in nodes so no further treatment required. However although I have been really positive up until now I have noticed a big drop in mood and energy levels. As a result I am putting on weight which is affecting my mood even more. I have read depression can creap up once the initial shock and the majority of treatments are over so I am cautious. I am just looking to see if I can't find a solution that doesn't involve drugs. I have never taken anti depressants but I know plenty of ladies that do and find it really hard to stop once they have started. Everything I have read regarding the Fossil Shell Flour was extremely positive but when I search for a supplier close to me I was getting as you said a product for animal and plant use. I might need to go and pick their brain because chances are they are selling it to people for their own consumption etc. Thanks again Lara
