@arpie My understanding of it is that Tamoxifen competes with estrogen, aromatase inhibitors stop/change the production of it in the first place. Therefore it's considered a more complete treatment of the estrogen 'problem'. If you are pre-menopausal in theory it's kinder to your body to allow the production of estrogen to continue. If you are post-menopausal the theory is what do you want with estrogen anymore anyway?
Well I can think of more than a few things, but cancer sucks and I'd rather have wrinkly old skin, aching joints and an atrophied vagina than the alternative... Got to maximise my chances. I've thrown the kitchen sink at this mother f*****r and I'm not stopping now.
