Day 5 - after first expansion
The sunrise sees me wake foggy headed and tired... Had an awful night... Twitchy leg! Burning and painful... Couldn't get to sleep! As a result poor hubby had a rough night too! I eventually gave in and took an oxycodone....
Checked my wounds as usual... All good.... Checked my feet... Still numb and tender but the peeling has slowed down a little, so that's good!
My mindset has been a little off the last few days and I'm sorry if I've bored you with all the sordid details of what's been in there, but that's why I write.... To get it out.. It's like the valve release on a pressure cooker...once it's out, the steam escapes.........
......a little more sunshine gets in...
Despite being tired, my mind is a little happier today... Maybe it has something to do with the weather being so nice today too!
I'm sitting on the verandah, Rusty is standing guard, letting everyone who walks past, know he's here and don't you dare get too close to mum!
The sun is shining and all the different birds are singing in chorus.... I watch a car go around and around...
You see we live in a dead end street with a loop road off the side and people often get directed here, by their GPS to get into the new estate, but of course you can't and they drive around and around three or four times as if a magical portal is going to open up and take them there! It's quietly amusing to see how many times it takes them to realise! Hmm just had a thought maybe he's looking for Pokemon! ??
Not much on the agenda, maybe get some dusting done *yawn* , I know excitement plus! I was thinking of taking Rusty for a short walk, but not sure that my arms will cope if he decides to pull in the lead so maybe not..
I'll just sit and drink my coffee yes I'm actually having a coffee! I have gone off coffee from diagnosis, but I've started to get the taste for it again this last week...
(Just had a light bulb moment! Maybe that contributed to why I couldn't get to sleep last night... Had two coffees in the afternoon... Hmmmm.. )
Sipping coffee listening to the world go about its business... Letting the sunshine warm my bones... I guess I could say it's a good day today
