Ev, a friend of mine has been on Tamoxifen for close to 2 years now and while she too dreaded it she has reassured me it is not a big deal.
Initially she had somenhot flushes to deal with at night but that had subsided pretty quickly and she has barely any to worry about.
I too am due to take it ince mynactive treatment starts and while I usually have very adverse reactions to any hormon treatments I will definitely take them - or give them a jolly good go. Personally I would rather take Tamoxifen as a preventative measure rather than risk another lot of surgeries or Chemo down the road...
