Last chemo

Well done, what a  relief that would be. I restart  mine on Tuesday  with a different combination  of drugs as paclitax had a bad reaction on me on the 3rd and 5th round..strange that the others seemed to be ok.

What a beautiful photo.I have finished Chemo, surgery and now 4 days left and I will have finished radiation. I found radiation for me pretty good compared to Chemo. MY energy levels have risen. Of course I get fatigued, but actually was able to do more and felt really good during my 25 treatments.  Everyone is different and has a different experience. Food wise no problems.

Thanks, ladies. I'm settling in for my last 'bunker' week. I feel like I've been given permission to stop slamming my hand in the car door every 21 days!
The mission now is to try to keep my exercise and stretching program going --I'm slowly slipping backwards. That walk yesterday is only 6 km and I was completely stuffed by the time we got back to the car.
I'm seeing the rad onc next week to see about moving onto the next stage of my treatment, hopefully that will be a bit easier. At least all the misery of gut cramps and restricted, unsatisfying diet will be over.
