live as though it is your last day
sing as though no one is hearing you
laugh out loud at anything that tickles you
dance as though no one is watching you
teach your daughter to do the same and she can only gain by the experience. Take her out for "girl days" locally or to the city. My mother and I used to go to the city and have lunch in Hyde Park or go to the flicks. Sometimes we would get off at Town Hall and walk down to the Quay and catch a ferry over to Manly and back. We would have mixed sandwiches for lunch and of course - the all coveted cappachino! That was always enjoyable to me. Having quality time with her. We would window shop for clothes and sometimes go in and try them on, then walk out with nothing. However we had a great time looking and seeing each other through different eyes.
Family time is for holidays and daily lives. You will already have shown her how strong you are going through this horrible dis-ease and doing what you have done and going through the chemo with a smile on your face and now getting ready to embark on the radiation. You will do well. You know you will. Good luck with it.
If you are feeling well, can you come over to Gloria Jean's at Bonnyrigg next Tuesday morning at around 10.00am or 10.30am. Just text me yes or no closer to the day. There is another lady I would like you to meet - she is 30 with a 18month old and also Annie will be there too.
In the new year we are talking about having some sessions of Free Reiki healing at the hospital through Pharmila. I am looking forward to this as I will be over all my chemo and just on the hormone therapy so should be stronger. I would like to give some healing sessions, however also teach meditation and teach reiki for self healing at least. This will be available for those with breast cancer to start with - eventually I want to expand it to include all cancer patients and their carers. So there are lots of plans that I have. All going well, will be ok. I will be having our younger group meeting on a Tuesday as I will be working on Wed/Thurs/Fri so Tuesday will be better for me.
Anyway, thanks for your support to me and I wish you all the best. Yes, you do look at life differently, and certainly in your job.
cheerio for now
Bright Blessings
