That is true. The question I asked myself was this. If I refused chemo, and the cancer returned, even although I wouldn't know if the chemo would have prevented it, would I still be happy with my decision previously? Would I be asking myself "What if... What if I had, would it still have returned anyway?" I've always been a go hard or go home type of person and so did all in my power to help in the fight. I was diagnosed Stage 3, Grade 3, multifocal, triple positive and with nodes. I therefor knew I was a bee's dick away from stage 4, and there is no stage 5 and that I was unable to have radiotherapy because of a pre existing medical condition. I did chemo first, then surgery.The biopsied breasts and nodes after surgery showed no live cancer cells anywhere, either in breasts or nodes, only the empty tumour beds, so I was very happy that I did.
