I've got an appointment to see an oncologist Tuesday
Hi Ladies,
Everything is happening so fast now, I'm not even 2 weeks post surgery and I have an appointment to see a Medical Oncologist on the 11/8 it's all happening so fast now I don't know what to think - all I feel is numb and scared, I just read this story in the NT News about a 24 year old lady with a 9 year old who has 1 week to live now she has bone cancer she's achieved almost everything on her bucket list it breaks your heart to know her daughter isn't going to have her mother while she's growing into womanhood.
I'm so grateful I caught my bc early but what do I have in store for me, I suppose my oncologist will have my anc results when I see him on Tuesday afternoon I've been told that they are very blunt I'm just a little scared right now but I have wonderful Breast Care Nurses who are allways there for me I guess the main thing is I haven't been told what stage my cancer is, I know there were 2 tumors both Hormone receptor +, grade 2 tumors and also 1 3.5cm tumor DCIS on the verge of being cancerous and 1 lymph node involved but the other nodes I don't know yet.
I'm trying to be brave but at night when I'm alone I get scared, I don't know what I would do without this network at least I can talk to you guys and know that you know how I'm feeling.
Sending lots of cuddles.
