is it safe picc line on the plane and for it to stay for more than 33 weeks for herceptin??

Hi all, Im hoping someone can give suggestions about my dilemma. I have finished all my 6 cycles of chemo last friday...yayyy.... but i'm faced with a new problem, i had to get a picc line inserted fo...

How ridiculous. I cannot see why you can't complete through the public system....even if it takes a little while to sort. Have you contacted your insurance company to check?Herceptin injections are through the pbs ...so find  it bizarre it's  not covered. Interesting the nurse even knows this aspect of it. The injections only came on the pbs this year.
