Hi Jen
I too had terrrible reflux/indigestion and bloating with docetaxel. I was given nexium that helped a lot. I also started sipping bundaberg sarsparilla and drinking licorice tea, it really helps to settle things down and is very soothing to the linings of gastrointestinal tract also. Plus it tastes ok if your tastebuds are all out of whack!
Goodluck :)

Hi Jen. I had dreadful heartburn on FEC, so went back on Nexium. During that time I also used Eno, & that worked really well. I didn't find the Docetaxel so bad for the heartburn, maybe because I was taking Nexium.
I've more recently heard that fruit tingles work quite well, and occasionally lately have tried them with good effect for mild indigestion.
Take care, Lyn

Hi Jenni,
I had terrible indigestion, I took pantoprazol with good results. Had bloating, put up with that, probably shouldn't have in hindsight. Talk to your oncologist or oncology nurse, they are a wealth of information. Found that sucking ice whilst having the docetaxal stopped mouth ulcers. Good luck. Sonya xx
