Hi Airlie,
I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 2, Stage 3. HER positive and multi node involvement.My tumour was 70mm (7cm) I have had a lumpectomy and axillary node clearance in January, three weeks later had a re-excision due to unclear margins, then a week later started FEC-D chemo.
I always knew what was to come, but hearing the different options that may be chosen re mastectomy has done my head in!
