I need help...

Hi everyone I been wondering what to do , for the past few months I've been replacing cow milk with soy milk, not that I like it but I was trying to be healthier, twice a week. Now that I've been diagnosed with oestrogen and progesteron positive BC , I wonder if I should continuue taking soy milk or not. If any of you ladies have any ideea or hear something regarding eating soy while receiving treatment can you please let me know. I ask the medical oncologist specialist when I see him next monday but I'm left wondering what to do. Thank you

  • HI Monica, yes I agree with Kathy - ask your oncologist. I uped my vit d content and then was told I didn't need to take that much. It was checked in blood test, and all okay.

Anyway, there is nothing much wrong with cow's milk unless you have a lactose problem. Do  you drink that much of it? I mean, if you had glasses of the stuff, then it could make a big difference. If you just have it with cereal and in your tea/coffee..then perhaps it wouldn't make that much of a difference.

I just switched to skim milk - that's cos of the fat content really. Otherwise, it probably won't make a huge difference.
