I have very little self esteem

Hi Ladies,

I lost the last of my hair this week and I was doing okay with it until yesterday afternoon we had to go to the shopping centre so I could go to the chemist well I suddenly got really nervous and anxious as I only had a scarf on I felt so exposed and scared my mother in law won't walk beside me which hurts and it seemed like everyone's eyes that were staring at me were nothing but full of pity how do you deal with this and I have to go out this afternoon as my husband is doing a 1.5 km run and there's going to be so many people there I am scared but I know I have to get out there I just feel so violated and alone.

Sending a smile and a cuddle ????????

  • I don't like the sound of that MIL.  She should be proud to walk next to you.

When I wear my wig people tell my how great it is that my hair has grown back already.  LOL  They really can't tell.  If you don't like the scarf just get a nice wig for your outings.  I also like soft caps and you can get quite nice styles.  My favourites have been a couple of ball caps with the bow on them.  I got black and blue, but you can get other colours.  They are really soft and comfy and I don't feel like it's such a cancer look as a scarf can be.  http://www.headcovers.com/ball-cap-with-detachable-bow/

Hi Anita, put your makeup on and your new wig, and a big smile when you go out. Have you been to a look good, feel better workshop yet? I didn't have access to one due to where I live, so I got onto YouTube as they have a clip on how to do your makeup. I lost my eyelashes and eyebrows, so now do the drawn on eyebrows, and use eyeliner and it tricks most folk. Make sure you put the lippy on every day, it makes you feel much better and is good for your self esteem. Sending you a big cuddle, Trace ??????
