Hot patches

Hi Special Ladies

I am wondering if someone else is experiencing the same hot patches as me ? I am in my second round of Abraxane and have just gone off Dexmethasone ( which I was having for radiation). These patches are usually around my stomach area and my bottom / hips and they come and go. On my stomach it feels like someone has put a hot cloth across. I am not sure how long they have been coming as I think the dex might have been covering them. I don't think these are hot flushes as they are in the wrong area ! It is some 8 weeks since radiation.

    I would hope Angels would be more gentle and not make you so concerned but you may be right.  They move in very mysterious ways :-)

    Thank you , I have a meeting with the doc tomorrow and will bring up the radiation aspect. These patches are just not going away !! Last night I had one on my ankle ! I try and be positive and tell myself its just Angels reminding me they are there ! Take care lovely lady. Love Fiona

    Hey Friend13

    I have not heard of these hot patches and they definitely do not sound like hot flushes at all.

    What I would suggest is that you get back in contact with the radiotherapy departmentand see if they can answer your question.  Side effects can often be delayed in raising themselves as I know. 

    I hope you have success in getting answers for this.  Must be very annoying I would think.  Good luck.  Lots of love, Mich xoxo
