Hi Rowdy - I think all husbands say that " you always wait until I sit down!"
I can understand totally, the emotions. I recently had to go for a CT scan, unrelated to Breast cancer and it is in the same facility as Breastscreen and as soon as I saw those doors with the Breastscreen logo I thought I'm gonna lose it unless I put my head into somewhere else!
It is the fragility of where we have been and are still going and it is surprising to realise an unexpected trigger.
Wishing you well with recovery for your knee. I had one of those many many moons ago and it was the best thing for my knee!
Of late I feel like I have become high maintenance with all these tests and ailments that have come along as well as! Lol!
Had someone I know come to me recently to say when he was told of my BC he shrugged it off and thought oh well I wish her well! Two months later he was diagnosed with bowel cancer and he told me I was the first person he thought of and he's had a deep and meaningful with me about the effect and where he is now at. Like most of us, he has an appreciation of everyone and everything around him.
Funny thing this journey!
