Herceptin / nail splitting
Hi all, I have been on Herceptin every three weeks for three and half years now and besides the nerve pain and the missing boob and the constant heart and body scans - things aren't to bad really!....
Apart from keeping short, try not to stress the nails. Keep them out of water as much as possible, no washing up. Also no ring pull opening on cans or twisting lids off jars. It was heaven on a stick when I was able to open a can of peas with a ring pull once my nails got better. I was just elated!
