@felsamad .... that would have been a real shock! I hope you can see the Gynaecologist asap & get it looked into. No doubt they'll take your bloods for the hormone levels including FSH too.
Make a list of anything you want to ask (as you've mentioned above) and make sure you bring them up with your Gynae and/or Onc & GP!
I can definitely understand you not wanting to get pregnant at this point ...
I am So sorry to hear of your Mum's diagnosis xx. This Xmas period would have been tough for all of you 🙁I can't help re the period question, as I was already menopausal when diagnosed - but hopefully another member will jump on soon with their experiences xx
