Good luck for tomorrow- more surgery,what a hoot! Painwise,you shouldn't have any afterwards and fingers crossed it's benign.Oh,and then more medical fun on Tuesday- you poor darl.Well I am turning off "Bold and the Beautiful"and staying in tune to your body saga! Yes It has been a while.  Got the results today. They can't decide if the lump is cancerous or not so it is coming out tomorrow just to be on the safe side.  It is on my chest wall right under the mastectomy scar, which is still numb. They were going to do the lump removal under local but they called me this arvo saying they want to do it under general and I have to fast from midnight. So yeah that will be one problem done and dusted.

I still have very low Iron count and bleeding in colon or intestines. I also have crohns, so it is probably from that.

But they need to check it out so another colonoscopy to come. See the surgeon on tuesday arvo.

Stay tuned for an other exciting episode of my body parts.

Hi there Chrissy ... if it's not one thing it's another !!!!

I was thinking I woule have a trouble free 2012 then my body decided to have a hissy fit - nothing b/c related - a diverticular haemorage in April which resulted in part of the bowel being removed and an ostomy bag put in. Fortunately not permanent - had it repaired in Nov so its all good now. Very "inconvenient" though and something I could have done without :) but as you say - another speed bump in life's highway !!

Love your positive attitude though - you have to be don't you? No good curling up in a corner crying about it - that's when the bloody disease wins !!!

I'm having a holiday in Darwin at the moment spending time with family, reacquainting with my g.g/daughter (5) meeting my new g.g/daughter (8 months), but home to Wentworth tomorrow.

I've declared 2013 an illness-free zone and heaven help anything that spoils my plans. Take care of yourself

Just knowing you are all here for my to grizzle to and let loose is a great relief. We are fighter and we will continue to fight with all our might.  I hope eveyone had a fantastic Anzac Day. I didn't go and march but I watched all the marches on Telly. I'm so proud of all our Defence forces past and future and all the families that made the ultamate sacrifice so we can live in this great country the way we do.

Thanks girls for all your support past and future on BCNA. I also want to thank Margie my McGrath Nurse who has been  wonderful.

Hey ChrissyYou are really doing things tuff!!!!! aren't you.  Life just keeps knocking us down but we seem to always pick ourselves up and be that lil bit tougher.I am so sorry those bloody big speed bumps have got in your road.  I am sure you have more than enough to deal with without this as well.I am finding I am lost for words to make things any better but you have done a smart thing and reached out for your pink sisters to be there for you and hopefully to support you and give you some strength to get over these horrible bumps.Keep on trucking kiddo.  Those grandees will manage to put a smile on your face I am sure.  I was like you, one minute there was none and now there is three but this granma is loving every minute of it.Wishing you all the best and a job to come along for hubby really soon. Good to hear from you dear friend, Yes damn speed bumps, I was just starting to get my second wind and think life was going along great. Back at work full time. Then the floods in Bundy and elsewhere. Hubby's work was wiped out by the flood. So he is in limbo with no work or job on Disaster payments from centrelink after many reems of paperwork filled out. Then had to do Hardship on the mortgage and Car payments so we are not on the streets. We weren't flooded at home but lost a roof off our patio in the tornados we had here.

So back to the many tests and playing the waiting game for results.
