Happy news
yay, today I spoke with my breast surgeon and she declared after 5 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, my lymph nodes have returned to normal! Happy days. They are also thrilled with the 6 tumours having an overall reduction of 50% and 1 completely disappearing......
Now for some research on mastectomy and immediate reconstruction.

Lol!!! Glad to hear you joined the Recon group. Know what you mean about taking only half of what is said at these appointments in - lucky my husband was fairly useful in the note-taking stakes! Jane xx

I've started docetaxel too, a bit earlier than expected so hoping this will work better
I do lots of visualisation and mediation too, I find it helps relax and cope if nothing else.
glad to hear you are travelling well. I have been thinking about reconstruction after masectomy too. The reclaim your curves ladies are awesome with info on that
Best wishes

Hi Marlee,
thanks for your message, I hope I can give you hope as it is the biggest thing you need to hold on to.
I have been doing some extra things to my treatment, not sure if it is helping but I'll try anything. I've do the nutria-infusion juicing using anti-cancer fruit and veggies every morning, I do yoga and visualise the tumours melting away, I drink sencha green tea and healing meditation - on the 'healing chair' during chemotherapy. I've also found an article on essential oils and rub chamomile oil into my breast.
My oncologist is ok with all that, as I said I don't know if it's helping with the reduction but I'll give anything a go. Hopefully they will continue shrinking with my new regime, docetaxel. Fingers crossed - 2 to go.
Hoping you are starting to get some good results by now too.
all the best of wishes to you.
cheers

Hi Jane,
sorry I always have trouble remembering my password and account logorithym and can't get back in again without resetting, so I've taken a while to get back in to reply.
yes I have joined the reconstruction group so will start getting my head around it all. I had one preliminary plastics appointment which I only remembered 50% of what was said and I can't read my notes.
Thank you for your message.
cheers
