Halfway!
Well treatment 3 is done and dusted - now a week later. That is FEC out of the way! I have to say though that this one has knocked me a bit fatigue-wise. I was all raring to go but I am not bouncin...
I knew I could count on you all to give me wise words!
I am planning a retreat somewhere - I was thinking of going to Gwinganna on the Gold Coast when my last Taxotere is over - oncologist said it was fine to do this with Herceptin and that we don't need to be so strict with the 3 weeks then. I think by August I will be needing some sunshine and warmth. My husband and I are also thinking about a holiday next year - just trying to decide whether it is the 2 of us or the 5 of us that go somewhere exotic.
Maria - I like your take on the river taking you - I do need to let go a little. As Tonya said too - be patient, let the body rest. I'm just not used to it - perhaps that is what I am supposed to learn. I know I will come out of this better - I want to come out of this better so I will.
I have woken feeling brighter today. Yesterday I just didn't feel right - I am getting hot flushes during the day - at least I think that is what they are - I was out talking to my neighbour - it was about 10 deg and got all hot and dizzy - stripped to a t-shirt and was still hot! I had a quite a few of these episodes yesterday on top of lying in a recliner all afternoon watching tv - not me at all - I usually don't sit down until after dinner at night - lol! Today I've had a good night's sleep and I feel brighter. I have some distractions planned for the rest of the week too - and some rest too....
I love that you are all so wonderful at saying just the right thing - thank you :-)
