Half way
3 treatments down and 3 to go though it still does seem a way to go. I have thankfully been relatively well throughout with nausea not being a real problem. The first week is usually a bit ordinary but the other 2 are okay. My oncologist referred me to a naturopath and so I have been taking quite a few tablets each day to boost the immune system, protect the heart and gut etc.I think these must be helping since overall so far I'm still functioning. The next three treatments are with another drug and so I will have to wait and see how my body reacts to this one. My Year 12 daughter has gone off to schoolies this weekend at Victor harbor, SA and it's funny that with all this bc stuff happening, I don't have the energy to worry like I did with my other daughter 2 years ago. I personally feel that my inability to switch off from worrying has not helped my health and maybe even triggered this breast cancer. I know it can't be proven but I do need to address how to stop the worrying. Any suggestions? Regards Di
