Half way through Radiation

Hi Girls,

Just a quick update. Im now half way through radiation and my skin is holding up.

Im slathering on the Moo Goo and the Aqueus cream they recommended.

Still working full time through it all and getting stronger each week.

The numbness in my hands and feet is slowly recovering. Im guessing the Vitamin B im taking is helping with that.

Had my Onc appointment last week and my vitamin d levels were on 34 which is low apparently so I had to go to a compounding pharmacy as I now need to take 5000units a day for 3 months to try and get it up.

Apart from that Im doing ok. its 8 weeks this wednesday since I finished chemo,...where has the time gone? I didnt think I could do it but I did and im proud of myself and proud of each of us that have gotten through it.

So thank you for being there in the begining when I was an absolute mess. Thank you for being there through my treatments and thank you for just being the amazing women you are.

If I drank, I would raise a my glass to you all.

    I would raise mine back at ya Jodie:) Go you! You have done so well,from that person in the beginning who thought she was about to die! That is where this blog is so great,for new ladies to actually see how it can be.And you worked as well! What a star:) I hope you stay in touch Jodie.I love this blog,and at the moment,I can't see a day when it is not going to be a part of my life.Congratulations to you again,and a huge cyber hug.Cheers xoxRobyn
