Hair loss
Hi, I'm new at this, I had my first chemo (doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide) on 1/3/17 and was wondering how long it will take before I start to lose my hair?
I had mine cut short in preparation and about 2 weeks after the first chemo I went for a walk on the beach on a windy day and came home almost bald lol. For the rest I just had a container beside me at my computer desk and I used to run my fingers through what was left and put anything lose in the container. For quite a while I managed to have just a smattering of whispy hair left. No way I was going to shave that little bit off. Eventually it fell out too.
When it starts to grow back like babies hair, don't be surprised if every one wants to pat you on your head lol.
