Good news

Hi Everyone, I finished all my active treatment in the middle of September this year. Have seen my oncologist today, and he advised that all is well at the moment, and that he doesn't want to see me until next May. Will be seeing my surgeon and rads oncologist in February next year, so my medical oncologist will play tag team with them, so that I'm seen every 3 months for the first 18 months. Will have my next lot of scans next February. Nice to get past another milestone along the way. My only issue at the moment is a bit of fluid around my mastectomy wound and my right arm. Will see the lymphoedema nurse tomorrow as my chest is taped up at the moment. She'll show my lovely hubby some massage techniques, so we can get on top of this issue. My cording has snapped, so that's the next bit gone forever. I'm going to down a whiskey and Coke tonight as a little celebration with my hubby, Cheers and cuddles, Trace ????????????

    Thanks my good friend, wow only 7 weeks to go, so that's not long now. How's your hair going? Mine is nearly to the stage where I can throw away the wig. I reckon another month will do it. My new hair is baby soft, and dark with some grey bits, I reckon that I've earned those grey hairs and am proud of them. Sending you a mega cuddle and positive Ives for the next 7 weeks. ????????

    Hi NE, the cording was treated with a combination of exercise, physio, massage and stretching, and I helped it along with massage under the shower. Takes a while and pushing through it every day. I suggest that ou get back to your physio, as cording is treatable. Cuddles, Trace ????????
