Genox out of stock

I checked with the company that supplies Genox, and they confirm that the 10mg tables are currently out-of-stock, but they expect them to be available soon (they were unable to confirm how soon but it sounds like a few weeks, as Sarah noted, is realistic). 

In relation to alternatives -- sometimes the additional substances in a drug (inert substances that provide a vehicle for the drug) cause problems for some people. For example, it seems that other brands of Tamoxifen contain lactose which may cause trouble in lactose-intolerant people.

If you find you are able to take some brands of a drug but not others, one or more of the additional substances could be the cause.  Best advice is to talk to your doctor or pharmacist about which alternatives might be similar in composition to the drug you currently take.

I went to get my script filled a few days ago and for the second time I have had to have tamosin instead of  genox. My pharmacist tells me it's out until 25th July!! The tamosin seems fine but have always had genox before. C'est La Vie!

Hi Tonya, I take the Genox brand too, at Christmas Time I had trouble getting.  Virtually got it a day after missing one tablet. So now the chemist order 3 packets in for me and kept aside.  Well I have now used up all those 3 packets. The Chemist has said there is no stock of Genox until September. I then proceeded to 3 other chemist in the area, who all said the same thing. I even tried online.  So I had no choice but to try a different brand, this week I am trying Novalex. I am too scared to go without any tamoxifen. I agree not good enought.When I google "Tamoxifen, Genox, Novalex" to see what is the different in the ingrediants. I was shocked to read that body builders used tamoxifen to help control the effects of steroids or to help with something of the mass effects of over exercising, I not sure if this affects Australia, but it was effecting England and Americal in stock as people are ordering these online and apparantly some countries will allow without prescription.  I FIND THIS TOTALLLY UNACCEPTABLE.....There is people who like you and I who need this medication for our health, and these people are taking worldwide supplies to enhance their bodies. Not sure what to do about this, peoples lives could be effected by this. There should be some safety mechanism to make sure our supplies are not effected. Good luck in finding it. Dot xxxx
