No family history might well mean you don't have the gene . They will map your family tree ...both mother and father...so you need to know about your Aumts etc on Dad's side also. Is their family history of ovarian cancer? They like to know all health history if you can have it. You can also be the 1st to have the mutation so they may look for it anyway.
