Gallstones and gallbladder

Just wanted to jump in and wish you all the best for Monday.  You will get instant relief when the wretched thing is gone.  How is the alien these days?  Hope everything is going well for you over there - your Perth group sounds like great fun and a really top bunch of women.  I remember Chris comforting me when this journey started in 2012 and really appreciated it.  Is Bundy still with you - almost afraid to ask..  All the very best for your op.

How are you hun?  Thank you so much for your luvly kind wishes.  I will jump this hurdle just like the other ones :) 

I am on Femara and have been for two years now.  You are right nothing like this gets mentioned when you are put on these drugs.  I guess it is up to us to research ourselves but really what choice do we have but to continue on the drugs.  I do plan to discuss with my chemo onc what is the percentage that this drug gives me in stopping the cancer from coming back.  I have definitely considered coming off of it for a lot of reasons but i guess we just have to hang in there and suffer the consequences cause what choice do we have really.  I know this is a very touchy subject for us and an extra thing to be worried about.

Mich,I'm sorry that you have yet another hurdle to get over.There is a lot of information about gallstones and Tamoxifen,in fact I have read that after 3 years on medication like Tamoxifen,your chances of gallstones are hugely increased!!! However,this is something that my oncologist has never actually told me.Are you on BC medication Mich? All the best for your operation,and I am looking forward to hearing if any other ladies have information on this subject.Cheers xox Robyn
