Gallstones and gallbladder

Mich, well aren' t you the little attention seeker (only joking).  You poor love - yet another challenge (we wonder when they will stop heh)  As the girls have said you will be free of another "pice of uselessness" when your gallbladder goes.  I had mine removed many years ago aftrer having awful bouts of illness - long time ago now as that was when I was first married (had the gallbladder out after I left him)  Surgery has come a long way since those days.  I had the "full hog" with a big drain as well (second belly button hole - another life scar)  I see you having the best time away with Mel so that means you will be well well well!!!.  Go Adean - what a thrill.  A cruise is on my Bucket List for sure.  Have the best time every.  Tonya - good to hear you are still enjoying yourself with little hiccups along the way.  A couple of years ago my young hairdressor thought I was a Cougar as my husband looked so fit, young and cute.  Wih all of his challenges this last year, he has really changed - very sad to see.  I still see some glimpses of his cheekiness occasionally.  I think I look okay until I look into the mirror - boy is that me in the mirror - who is that mature woman in my body??  Thief??  Mich, good luck with surgery tomorrow - will be thinking of you luvvy and wishing you a quick recovery.  I am off for my lovely CT body scan.  Such fun for a Monday morning.  Keep us informed.  Night ladies - sweet dreams XLeonie

Well I  married  a man 5 years OLDER  than me so his hair is thinning,his beard grey and his face has wrinkles- BUT he is still slim,has minor ailments, eats what he wants(so annoying) and is quite fit(fitter than me).If he was to attract any ladies then sooner or later his grumpy disposition(a recent thing) would probably be revealed.We've been married for 35 years and love each other to bits.We have 2 grown up girls(1 is married) and are quite happy with each others company MOST of the time- I go to my hobbyroom when he's grumpy ha ha. Mich,it sounds like you had a difficult past and ofcourse,still having health problems.It takes it's toll. I looked in the mirror the other night and just shook my head in disbelief at how  my body now looks- missing boob,flabby everything,bags under my eyes- you get the drift.But my husband doesn't see it and still loves me.I'm sure your husband is the same -anyway,you're cute,what's not to like!! And if we could lose a few kilos between us,we'll look hot!! Makeup will fix the rest. love n hugs,Tonya xx

Haha that is the problem Tonya mine is still reasonably good looking, has a good head of hair and for some reason all the girls, I should say ladies think he is luvly mmmmmmm no he is luvly and I am extemely lucky.

I guess him being six years younger than me, not had any children, not had problems and then hysterectomy, had a very smooth childhood and marraige spit up with no children involved, no ex who nearly beat him to death, he has not had BC, he not had my alien to deal with, he not on bloody medications etc etc. and the list goes on.  I guess he has a right to look better than me hahaha.  Gotta luv em.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, Mich - when it's done you will feel so great for your visit with Mel - have a wonderful time in November.  And Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary since diagnosis!  We have all come such a long way since we first met online and supported each other.  Have a good break till February - maybe the surgeon will have some new ideas by then.  You are a warrior woman, Mich - even if a tired one at present.
