Flying one month after mastectomy

Hello I am hoping for any feedback. I need to fly for a funeral and was wondering if their are any limitations. I am one month post mastectomy and had a few lymph nodes removed. I appear to have some cording and have a sermon drained regularly. As it weekend can anybody tell me if I am allowed to fly. Can you get a lymphedema sleeve quickly? Many thanks for any feedback.

    Thank you Julia. I wonder how long it takes to have a sleeve purpose made. I am in Perth but won't have time to get a specially made one for this trip.

    Hi,

    If you are in Sydney there are Lymphodema clinics at RPAH and concord hospitals. that I know of and probably other hospitals too.  They can measure your arm to make sure you get right size.
