Hi ladies,
It's so good that we can check in with each other and know we are on the same journey but not alone. Annie I was shocked to hear how quickly you went down hill and didn't even know how serious you were until you took the temperature. That must have been so scarey. I am glad you are back and fighting fit and got round 2 in and that you will be able to have a great escape on your long weekend.
Anne, I can totally relate to you being emotional. I can feel myelf heating up with rage especailly with my two teenage children and I manage to escape to the garden and not chopping heads off. I am a sole provider but I have good friends and brother and sister-in-law nearby. Lucky, you have a great partner Anne. Sometimes we have to bite humble pie and allow others to walk the journey with us.
It is one hell of a journey, ne'r a dull moment. It took a week for the rash to settle. They are not sure whether it is the autoimmune disease or chemo symptoms. Igot an infected nail too so now I am on antihistamine and antibiotics. More pills to help that ratlle!!
I felt a little more vague after round 2. I came home and had a big sleep, but am not feeling as nauseated and fatigued the day after. I hope I can sleep this time around as I only slept for 3 hours nightly on the 1st week but then again I am on 10mgs of prednisone for the disease. So I am pumped. How are you feeling after round 2 Annie?
Enjoy a great weekend ladiesxxx
