Annie, feel free to whinge anytime! Sorry to hear you ended up in hospital but glad you're out and back home. I hit the wall two days ago and was so emotional all day, crying at the drop of a hat or someone asking me how I was doing. I was just over everything, especially the intense "personal care" routine I'm now on, what with looking after nails, moisturising, gentle shampoo and creams and now lymphatic massage by my partner (who already has so much 'looking after' to do) to try to mitigate the fluid in my breast and reduce the swelling and having to watch out for fluid build up in my right arm. Aargh! :-)
Anyhow, I felt back to myself the next day and back on track.
Mares, I have a couple of dry-ish kind of spots on my face but no rash. I hope that settles down for you quickly. Yes you're right about my treatment, next Friday 6 is number two. I've not gone into work today as I have a cough and a bit of a cold so hoping it doesn't stay around too long or get any worse. Like Annie, I'm on a schedule to finish chemo at the end of August and I certainly don't want any delays. Other than that, I've been travelling pretty well after the first so will wait and see what happens after the next. Still have my head hair at this point but appears as though other hair has decided to start falling out this morning.
Thinking of both of you today as you tick off number two :-) rest and take care of yourselves. I too am looking forward to our long weekend in WA so hope you get away as planned Annie xo
