Invasive tumour, invasive carcinoma, NST,BRE grade 2

in situ tumour, low grade ductal carcinoma in situ.

hormone receptors still not reported on

ugh, feeling impatient to know exactly what I'm dealing with. Having dental surgery tommorrow, so missing clinic that only runs on Wednesdays, so will have to wait until next weeks clinic to find out more.

  • It is a good thing you are feeling a little better about things. As time goes by you will feel more comfortable with the whole process.

  • Dianne I managed to speak to a vic cancer council nurse who has worked as a breast care nurse, she was wonderful and had many great suggestions and was able to answer a huge amount of questions for me, she's going to call me again next week after my clinic appointment. I feel a bit better, :) Thankyou xx

  • I am sure the Breast Care Nurse will be most helpful and be able to give you answers to your questions or advise you who you need to talk to to get specific answers. Any good sound advice from the right medical professional is helpful and after discussion you will feel much less anxious, Dianne

  • Thanks Dianne xx

ive been offered a double reduction, that's what I would like to talk to a breast care nurse about, hopefully next Wednesday they will connect me with one :)

  • At the moment it is best to take one day at a time, try not to think too far ahead, things will come clear and will be sorted out for you by your medical team.  Your surgeon or hospital should be able to put you in touch with a Breast Care Nurse, something that most ladies find very supportive, take one day at a time, Dianne

  • My hubby comes with me to apps so he takes more in then me, lol. I havnt connected with breast care nurse, I'm not sure how too! I got the my journey kit from here which has lots of info which has been helpful. Thankyou xx

  • Thankyou, just home now from dental surgery, mouth pretty sore, but one more thing ticked off list on way to getting better! I don't understand all the clinical terms, but will beat this! :)

Hi Flutterby, I hope that your other results are okay. It is a lot to process when you get a diagnosis. Do you have contact with a breast care nurse to give you some info to read in the meantime ? Here's hoping that your dental work goes well also. Take care, Tracey B ????

  • Try not to think of it by all the clinical terms Flutter by  think of it as a virus your going to beat?? Good luck at the Dentist, take care, sending you a hug.
