First day of Taxotere (also called Docetaxel)
So today I used the Picc line for the first time with my first round of Taxotere. They also took bloods via the line. So much easier for me!! No needles. Reduced my chemo trauma by an enormous amount...

Yep its potent stuff that doxe. I had a reaction to my second dose as my body must have twigged to what was going in the second time and they had to halt the infusion and dose me up with some more pre meds to fool my body. It worked, no more dramas. Hoping you forge on through this first one with not so many side effects. Once you have a bit of an idea what's coming up you can adapt. I wrote down every day what I was feeling so next round I would look for what I could do or take to lessen the impact.
