Hi it is a huge shock to be told you will need chemo, it is not stupid to feel this way. When I had chemo I started to lose my hair after first round it was falling out in clumps and this was hard to take so I cut it all off and started to wear a wig and scarves. It was hard but I did adjust to having no hair quicker than I thought I would. Having no hair is a constant reminder that you have bc it is staring at you every time you look in a mirror.. Ask if you can have the cold cap that saves your hair not sure where available ask your oncologist.
Take a deep breath and take it one day at a time x
