First chemo Tuesday, is it best to fast before infusion or eat?

I had my first chemo yesterday. Mine took from 9 till 10.30 for the education where they go over everything and you can ask questions.
Maybe why mine went so long😂
I was in the chair at 10.30 they were very busy. Had a capsule I think for nausea with a cuppa.
Got infusions started at 11.15 was all done by 2pm. I am told it is quicker through port?
I am not getting my port till monday so thad to go in vein.
The plan was to have a light breakfast but i was not hungry and had relux that morning. So i just had a cuppa and water with a nexium.
They bring you cuppas and crackers and cheese, cold drink, yoghurt , jelly and you get lunch we had sandwiches just ask if peckish.
I hope you have as good a time as i did as i laughed non stop with the ladies and nurses.
I have very little side effects just headache and that was sorted with panadol. A wee bit of nausea for half an hour after i finished and tiredness but i still went shopping today, I love my bed.so in it early tonight.
