First 3 monthly check-up

So far so good. I feel pretty good and my healthy lifestyle changes feel worth it with nothing to worry about at the first check-up, 3 months since finishing radiation and chemo. Was told I am doing better than most people for this stage of recovery, so that is good and all I can hope for so far. Feel very fortunate that I seem to only have minor niggles from radiation and chemo and very few side effects from tamoxifen. Next check-up will be the 1st anniversary since diagnosis so will involve a mammogram for the remaining breast. This one was just a physical examination. Must say I did hold my breath when having the breast area and lymph node area checked! Was very relieved to hear that everything felt ok! Hope you are all doing ok too. Deanne xxx

  • I am just back from travelling since Christmas, and catching up with everyone's blogs.

Congratulations on passing the 3 month check-up milepost!   That is such good news!  You have done everything right since diagnosis and it has really paid off.  I am so happy for you.

I am 2 years since diagnosis this month, and have all my check-ups looming.  Hopefully all is well, as I feel fit and strong - still exercising, watching the diet, green drinks, etc.  However it is always a relief to hear the words NED so fingers crossed.

    Enjoy your holiday!

  • Lovely to hear from you again. I hope you enjoyed your travelling. Good luck with your check-ups. Feeling fit and strong has to be good, so hopefully you'll hear the NED words and feel that relief too. I'll cross my fingers for you. Take care. Deanne xxx
