Ah Peta that sucks. I had a similar experience and as much energy as it took I made sure that it was known I actually had another referral I don't know what happened but I had one appt booked with that dr I turned up and we got on appeared after my response she had a rethink anyhow she's still my onco I guess my point is none of us need to feel intimidated by the medical profession we are going through enough and that's something they need to remember I'm a tough cookie but that experience shattered me and I wanted to be sure it was not going to happen to someone else.
